Q & A with Albertina
What achievement has made you most proud?
It is difficult to pick just one, but I could narrow it down to 3 if I was pushed. First, bringing up my twin boys to be grateful, respectful and hard working. Second, would be leaving my country of birth and moving to a new country, the emotional and cultural challenges that came with that. Leaving behind family and friends and having to start again.
Finally the challenge that tested my strength of character was setting up my own business. I’ve always wanted to do it, but never had the courage until one day, I just took the plunge and here we are.
What advice would you give your teenage self?
I would say, “be the best version of yourself, and nothing is impossible.”
Who has been a big inspiration for you, and why?
This may sound like an odd source of inspiration, but my sons are my biggest inspiration. They have taught me so much, about myself, people, relationships and the meaning of unconditional love. They have supported me through the development of my business, encouraging me and not being selfish when I couldn’t make time for them. They continue to challenge and support me every day in achieving my goals.
How did you get into your business?
I love people and I love supporting and encouraging people so there was a natural calling towards coaching.
Tell us a bit about your business?
I support individuals and groups to be the best that they can be, whether in business or in their personal lives. They have the solutions, I just work with them to draw them out.
